Fadel Gad
Egyptologist · Archaeologist · Tour Leader
Fadel Gad is the founder and president of Joy Travel International, and has been leading private educational tours to Egypt and beyond for over 20 years. A native of Memphis — Egypt's first capital — he brings an intimate, birthright-level connection to the land and its history.
He received his Master's degree in Archaeology, Ancient Egyptology, and Islamic Art from Cairo University, where he also served as an Archaeologist of Antiquities. His field experience spans excavations at Fostat, Saqqara, Cellia, and the Monastery of Abo Henes.
Fadel most recently served as Executive Producer for specials on Egyptian archaeology for public television, and has filled lecture halls with his comprehensive knowledge of Egyptian mythology, ancient gods, and the civilization that shaped human history.
